Groups are set up in response to the suggestions of members provided that a volunteer is willing to take responsibility for the planning and running of the group. That doesn't mean that the leader has to do everything personally. For example keeping the attendance register might be delegated to another group member.

If your particular interest is not catered for please let us know so that we can discuss how a new group can be formed. Feel free to ask any of the current group leaders, and you may find that it is not as daunting as you might think!

If anyone is taken ill or has an accident, however minor, at a Group meeting the leader should download an Incident Report form without delay and pass the completed form to the Chair.
